In My Mailbox (8)

So I got Archangel’s Consort from Berkley Sensation. yah! Thank you so much. I also just received Delirium by Lauren Oliver from NetGallery. One thing is I am so mad that NetGallery has disabled the Kindle feature where they send to your kindle. Because I honestly cannot stand the Adobe Digital Editions Reader. I cannot stand it so much that I can’t read the book. I read the first 100 pages so far, but it is so hard to keep going because of my hate for the Reader I am reading it on. I really hope that they bring back the kindle feature soon, because I just cannot read on a reader that I dislike so much. It is driving me crazy.

But aside from the E-reader, I am 100 pages in and it is good so far. I haven’t read a dystopia book before, and I find that Delirium is really interesting. I think the concept that love is a disease is really interesting and unique. I look forward to continuing this book and hope that the rest of it is really good.

  1. I transfer the netgalley books from adobe editions into my e-reader, I guess you mustn't be able to do that with a Kindle.

I thought the kindle-editions have been restored? I agree with you, I am not able to read for long stretches on the computer either. These two books are both on my wishlist :)ChrizetteIn my Mailbox

I also hate Adobe Digital Editions and won't read them if I can't get them in Kindle format. I haven't checked if it has been fixed yet. But I hope you enjoy your books! Happy reading. 🙂

  4. I'm right there with you on the Kindle thing. You just can't get into reading it the same way when it's formatted like that. Stephanie GParanormal Haven

  8. OMG, if you thought the first 100 pages were good, wait til you read the rest of it! I, personally, thought the first 1/3 of the book was a bit on the slow side but the remaining 2/3 more than made up for it. I believe NetGalley is working on the Kindle situation. I hope they bring the Kindle feature back and soon!
